What If… Paul Hogan Had Said ‘Yes’ To Ghost?
As creepy as it is to watch an old saddle-bag such as Hogan molest Demi Moore, Ghost is a huge hit. Subsequent movies such as Three Wishes are not. After years roaming the Hollywood wilderness, Hogan is saved from B-movie hell when he plays a motivational speaker with a fondness for small boys in a film about a future-predicting rabbit. Patrick Swayze, on the other hand, goes out for cigarettes in 1990 and is never seen again.
What If… Val Kilmer Had Been A Really Nice Bloke?
On the set of Top Gun, Val’s affable nature and strong work ethic endear him to everybody. These qualities help make him a big star. And no one begrudges him this success because he’s just so darn lovely. Meanwhile, co-star Tom Cruise proves difficult and withdrawn throughout the shoot. He subsequently pisses on his chips and winds up making B-pictures like The Salton Sea and Streets Of Blood.
