Quite simply the best bad-dad of them all. Anakin Skywalker’s parenting’s so shoddy that not only is he bent on murdering his only son (unless he can be turned toward the dark side, naturally) but he seems in no way concerned about the welfare of Luke’s twin sister, Leia. And like all great piss-poor patriarchs, he turns out to be quite nice nice in the end just as he was in the beginning when he had the misfortune to be played by an unconvincing Canadian.
