Howard Hughes
Job Movie producer. Star aviator. Wealthy gadabout.
Vice Born rich, Hughes didn’t have to work hard to carve out a reputation as the ‘world’s greatest womaniser’. His conquests included Jean Harlow, Ava Gardner and Katherine Hepburn - the equivalent of Jerry Bruckheimer ‘squiring’ Julia Roberts, Kate Beckinsale and Cate Blanchett.
Greatest ‘Feat’ After sleeping with Katherine Hepburn, Hughes (pictured with occasional squeeze Ginger Rogers) drove across town to sleep with Lana Turner. Note - little sleeping actually occurred.
Price Of Pleasure Died a recluse in 1976 aged 71, possibly driven mad by the syphilis he contracted in the early 1930s.
